A Message From Our Founders 

One of the greatest blessings of living in a small community is knowing the people around us. We see our neighbors at local events, restaurants, churches, and community gatherings. Sometimes it's as simple as a friendly wave or the sound of a horn as someone drives by.

But what about those who are homebound, living alone, or feeling forgotten?

Many of our senior citizens face isolation every day. That is why programs like Colonial Beach Neighbor2Neighbor are so important. Our mission is to reach out, provide companionship, and remind our seniors that they remain valued members of our community.

Each of us is called to live with purpose and to serve others. As Scripture reminds us, "Be doers of the word, and not hearers only" (James 1:22). We are also commanded to "love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:31). These simple but powerful teachings inspire our work and guide our commitment to caring for those around us.
